Kaunas FEZ and IA
Kaunas is Lithuania’s second-largest city and an important hub of economic, academic and cultural activity. Recently, ambitious plans were set in motion to link Kaunas to Vilnius (the country’s capital and largest city) and to Klaipéda (the third largest city). This not only has far-reaching implications for Lithuania, the area will also form a strategic point between Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
BAR made a 3D overview of a Free Economic Zone, an International Airport, high-speed train and a business park. As plans come to fruition, the future of Lithuania is looking very bright.
