Astana 3D
Astana is Kazakhstan’s current capital and second largest city. Like its sister city Almaty, Astana is undergoing major architectural changes. Scarred by history, its Soviet-era buildings are being torn down and replaced by a string of new and innovative structures designed by acclaimed, international architects, including BAR.
BAR’s interactive 3D model of Astana focuses on the “Millennium Axis” and new city parts, offering an exciting glimpse at possible future developments. Made up of more than 300 photographical landmark buildings and low-poly buildings, the model is used to simulate future expansions as well as evaluate building proposals.
